Toe pitch is advanced lift and takes at least few month to do even sort of properly. Be patient.
There are several drills for this. base can be on knees (it's lower so easier for flyer), base can sit on something (more stable and base can lean away to give flyer more space). Next level is toe pitch but lift only partially, good position to stop are when base is standing up, elbow at right angle. Next good position to stop is when base's arms are in front of face.
Toe pitch with pop, catch. This is a skill to train and train and train.
Toe pitch, catch to reverse f2h.
This can be done without losing contact but be make sure you are using hand/foot that makes it possible (depends on direction of rotation).
This can be to sit on shoulders (throne) but usually it's directly to roll back down (which is also safer).
Advanced!
This is fairly advanced, cover later.
